TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
